Marenland offers cozy accommodation in a traditional bed-box, but then slightly more modern. Our small-scale 3-star lodge has differently sizes rooms, from single to quadruple. It is an ideal starting point for walking the Pieterpad trail.
Our single room with bed-box on the ground floor has a little desk to work. The room has a private shower and toilet.

Part of Marenland is also the restaurant ‘De jongens uit de buurt’, as a hotel guest you can dine here extensively, but it is useful to book a table in bad weather because we have less space inside than outside. You can easily reserve a table when checking in your room or via www.dejongensuitdebuurt.nl.
Feel free to book breakfast as well, which is already possible from 7.30 and you have breakfast in our restaurant the boys from the neighborhood.
The breakfast consists of different types of bread, toppings, egg, yoghurt, orange juice and of course a cup of coffee/cappuccino or tea to start the day! Do you have allergens? Let us know and we’ll be happy to adjust it for you!
Walking the Pieterpad? Then also book a packed lunch, ideal for the stage from Winsum to Groningen because there are few catering facilities on that route.
