Our tent pitches at Camping Marenland are spaciously laid out (+/- 70 to 100m2) to guarantee your privacy and give you a sense of freedom. The pitches are on grassy terrains that offer natural comfort and are easily accessible. Here you will find the perfect balance between experiencing the outdoors and having access to comfortable facilities. Our pitches are ideal for both short getaways and longer stays, where you can fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Our tent field offers beautifully sheltered spots for trekker tents, ideal for solo campers or groups who want to stay together. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere with multiple tents gathered together. For extra convenience and comfort, there are lovely picnic tables available on the field.
At Marenland, we combine modern luxury with sustainability in our sanitary facilities. They are equipped with solar water heaters for environmentally friendly heated water and are always clean and well-maintained. These facilities are designed to provide comfort and hygiene while minimising our ecological footprint.
Marenland offers a wide range of activities to enrich your holiday. Whether you choose a peaceful day on the water with a rented canoe or SUP, or prefer more action with archery or a game of disc golf, there is something for everyone. If you don’t want to cook after a day full of experiences, our restaurant ‘De Jongens uit de Buurt’ offers delicious meals. For a quick snack, our Frieterie is the ideal choice.
Just a short distance from our campsite lies Winsum, which was awarded the title of ‘most beautiful village in the Netherlands’ in 2020. This village is rich in culture and history, with its characteristic bridges, old mills, and charming village centre. A walk through Winsum reveals the unique charm of the Groningen countryside, complete with boutiques selling local goods and cafés inviting you for a coffee by the water.
